Privacy Policy

This page says what happens to your email address when you unlock a guide. It is short, because this site does not do much.

What we collect

When you unlock a guide we ask you for two things: a first name and an email address. Along with them we save what we already know.

  • Your first name and your email address.
  • Which guide you opened first.
  • The campaign tags in the link you arrived on, if there were any (which post sent you).
  • The discount code we made for you, and when it ends.

That is the whole list. We do not ask for your age, where you live, or anything about your health.

Why we ask for it

We send you a link that opens the guides on your device, and the thank-you code that goes with it.

We may also email you when we publish a new guide, about once a week, and Progression Labs may write to you about what it sells. That is the trade: you give us an email address, we send you the guides and tell you when there is another one. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

Who else sees it

Your address is held in a database run by Supabase and the emails are sent through Resend, both in the United States. The site itself runs on Vercel, also in the United States.

Because Progression Labspublishes this site, your address sits in the same list as the store's customers and sign-ups. We do not sell it, we do not rent it, and we do not hand it to anyone else.

Your IP address

When you send the form, our server sees your IP address for a moment. We use it to stop one person sending the form a hundred times in a row. We do not keep the address itself: we scramble it into a short code that changes every hour and cannot be turned back into an address.

Cookies and tracking

There is no Google Analytics on this site, no advertising pixel, and no script from any other company.

We do count a few things so we know whether the guides are any good: how many times a guide was opened, how far down the page people got, how many left an email, and how many tapped through to the store. Those are plain numbers with nothing in them that points back to you.

When you unlock a guide, your browser gets one cookie so we do not ask you for your email again. It holds your address in signed form and nothing else. Use the “Lock again” link in the footer to remove it.

If you tap through to the store, you are on progressionlabs.org and its own privacy policy applies from there.

How to stop the emails

Use the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or write to support@progressionlabs.org and say you want out. We take your address off the list.

How to be deleted

Email support@progressionlabs.org from the address you signed up with, or tell us which address to look for. We delete it from our list and ask Resend to delete their copy. You can also ask us what we hold on you, and we will tell you.

Where we are

This site is run from the United States, and your email address is stored in the United States. If you are reading this from another country, that is where it ends up.

Children

This site is not meant for children. Do not give us an email address if you are under 21.

Changes to this page

If we change what we do, we change this page and we change the date at the top.
